Our parties are hosted in the basement of Creative Learning Toys. They are 2 hours long.

Parties are Saturdays or Sundays from 10am-12pm or 1230pm-230pm. 

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

Times are on a first come first served basis depending on Anne's availability (she hosts the parties for us)

To secure your spot a minimum of a $50 dollar non-refundable deposit is required.

Creative Learning Toys requires a minimum 7 days notice for all birthday parties.  

You will need to provide the cake and any food and drinks the children will be having.

Creative Learning Toys will provide the plates, cups, cutlery and napkins.

Creative Learning Toys also provides invitations to give out to your potential guests. 

Birthday parties are for the bday girl or boy + 9 guests. Each additional guest is $14.99. Up to a maximum of 14 guests (except for dino party max 11 guests).

There will need to be at least one adult present at all times. If the bday child is 5 years of age or under 2 adults will be required to be present at all times.

Parties can be adapted up for older children, the listed age is the minimum. The host will adjust the content to fit your child’s level of interest and capacity.

You can customize the event to your theme by bringing your own decorations and tablecloth. We have hooks in strategic places along the beams of the ceiling to hang banners, swirls, balloons and piniatas. There is an electric balloon pump for parents to use, there is also a bluetooth speaker to play your child’s favourite tunes.

There are 6 different party types to choose from depending on what you would like. 

Playing Around (3yrs+): Anne brings smiles with her wherever she goes. Balloons and magic are her favourite things, and she will be sure to sculpt something for everyone. Your child will receive special magical attention with a memorable take-home magic birthday card signed by all the guests.

home item for each child)

rockets, keep balloon off the floor etc)

-  Mini magic show (take item for bday child)

Pirate Pat (3yrs+): Board the Swaggy to find the loot! The birthday child will be the captain of the ship during this pirate adventure. We’ll follow the map, navigate through shark waters, do some fishing, see the stars and practice our sword fighting on the way to the buried treasure. Your child will discover their magical talent when they make gifts to take home appear out of thin air.

Activities include (subject to time and availability):

- Balloon sword fighting

- Shark tag

- Fishing

- Anchor and fish game

- Pirate face painting (scars, tattooos and beards)

- Digging for treasure (every guest goes home with a mini-treasure chest and gold chocolate coins from the large treasure)

 Dino Mania (5yrs +): A full dinosaur themed party complete with make and take fossils, build a dino, dino races, dino games and a T-Rex photobomb to finish it up. For the younger guests magnetic dinosaurs, hide and find dino eggs, dino dance moves, dino races and games. Older groups and guests build a dino 3D puzzle with screws, compare X Ray animal photos with fossils, race dino cars, play the dino memory game.

- Dino games (ring toss, fling a dino, dino stepping stones, dino balloon fight)

- Stories and shadows

- Dino stickers or tattoos

- T-Rex photobomb (Birthday child can wear an inflatable riding dino costume while the host wears an inflatable T-Rex costume for that memorable photo)

Princess Parade/Knights Gala (3-9 yrs): Our very own princess invites you to the grand ball with perfect curtsy finishes. Make and take princess tiaras or king’s crowns and face painting will transform your guests into magical beings before your very eyes. They can choose a costume from the palace’s closet or bring their own. A wish come true, a parade and a photo by the treasure will make wonderful memories for years to come.

Activities include (subject to time and availability):

- Make and take crown (or knight’s shield for guests who
might prefer this activity)

- Cheek face painting and kid-friendly nail polish

- Make and take royal streamers

-  Birthday child’s magic show

-  Every guest leaves with a balloon princess wand

Science goop (6 yrs +): Get the scoop on some of the neatest science goop! Mystery goops and fun with the polymer family are on the schedule for this event. We encourage all the guests to dress down in get messy clothes. Things will gloop, and glomp and bounce in our messy zone. Don’t worry! We take care of the mess while you enjoy food and cake with your guests.

- Mystery goo (take home for every guest)

- Make and take slime

- Make an take bounce balls

- Balloons, games and magic

Light Magic (7 yrs +): Enter another dimension where magic happens at your fingertips. Travel the light waves with tons of fun experiments and WOW! moments. Light up your party like never before as your child will make gifts for their friends appear. Guests receive a light up bracelet, a mini-black light and rainbow peepers (diffraction lenses that make rainbows when you look at lights through them)

- Black light (UV light) cheek face paint with sparkles

- Make and take neon mosaics

- Light-up Keepy-Uppy dance floor

- LED funland (butterfly wings, crowns, light-up wall,
birthday hat)
